Q1: Why did you choose the sport(s) that you play?
I chose to play football and basketball because I grew up around it my whole life and I wanted to be just like the guys that I would watch as a kid.

Q2: What is your favorite Madeira sports memory?
Playing in a sold-out Madeira stadium as a sophomore for the league title against Wyoming for football.

Q3: How do you get motivated to practice each and every day?
I always remind myself that every day is a blessing and I’m going to go 100% every rep because there is someone who doesn’t have the opportunity to do that.

Q4: What superpower do you wish you had and how would you use it?
I wish I could read minds, so I could tell if people really mean what they say or what they’re thinking about.

Q5: Which athlete(s) would you like to have dinner with and what would you talk about?
Michael Jordan, and Ja’maar Chase and I would ask about how do they stay so consistent in their approach to the game and ask them for advice on the mental part of the game also.

Q6: What makes a great teammate?
A teammate that you can trust to do their job to the best of their ability and is competitive

Q7: What is on your pre-game playlist?
My pregame playlist consists of a lot of rap and some old school rock.

Q8: What is the funniest thing that you have seen or happened to you in a practice or game?
My sophomore year one of my teammates took a half-court shot off the tip and almost made it and I couldn’t stop laughing.

Q9: What is next after you graduate?
I will be attending Marian University to play football.

Q10: What advice would you give an 8th-grade athlete as they move on to high school sports?
Take every moment in as much as you can. The memories you will make as a high-school athlete will last with you forever.
