His journey towards athletic excellence began at a young age, instilled by his father who nurtured his competitive spirit by timing him and his siblings on the track.

Throughout his high school career, his coaches played a pivotal role in his development, constantly challenging him to enhance his skills and performance. Their unwavering support and innovative approaches pushed him to new heights, driving him to strive for excellence with each stride.

Following his graduation from Madeira High School, he pursued his passion for running at the University of Cincinnati, where he walked on to the Cross Country team. His dedication and talent translated seamlessly to the collegiate level, where he emerged as an All-Conference performer, showcasing his exceptional abilities and commitment to the sport.
