An extraordinary and modest athlete, she achieved the distinction of being the first Female “Athlete of the Week” chosen by Cincinnati Sports Writers of the Cincinnati Enquirer. Additionally, she excelled in both short and long-distance Track events, earning notable placements in the State Class AA Track competitions in 1975 and 1976.
