What type of donations do we give?

The Athletic Boosters value the contribution that our parents and business community make and are excited to report that between membership, Booster Palooza, concessions and other fund-raising activities we are now raising over $100k annually.  We are continuing to focus on supporting the ongoing needs of our student athletes as well as celebrating their achievements.  Recent contributions over the last few years have included:

  • Installation of a new high school back gym floor and scoreboard that is utilized by all grades as well as the Madeira recreation leagues.
  • Offsetting athletic department operations costs (e.g., officials, iPad, team travel etc.)
  • Funding of the strength coach.
  • Purchase of the trainer’s new golf cart
  • New chairs for the “team benches” in the high school gym
  • Hudl subscription to support team video needs and livestreaming
  • Uniforms for the volleyball, boys/girls basketball teams and middle school football jerseys
  • Partnering with the Madeira Swim and Tennis Club to install new lighting to extend available court time for the tennis teams to practice
  • New soccer goals for the boys and girls teams to maximize their practice time
  • Football headphones, chutes, tackling wheel, helmets and shoulder pads
  • Plyo boxes for volleyball
  • Girls team golf bags
  • A new wrestling mat to replace the one that was over 20 years old plus head gear, team pack resistance ropes, footwork trainer and take down defender
  • Boys varsity basketballs, storage rack and minizons basketballs
  • Softball and baseball batting tees, hitting nets, and turtle cage
  • Lacrosse helmets
  • Coaches appreciation event
  • Hired photographer to take pictures at varsity games/matches/meets for all teams
  • Boosters State Recognition program for qualifying team member and individual athlete that participates in a state final four, meet or tournament

Booster support is critical in providing some of the operating funds for our teams and helping to buy the “extras” that ensure an athletic experience to remember.
